Russian woman creates stunning photos of her children with animals in the village (25 photos)
Elena Shumilova is not a newbie to the Internet, and certainly not a newbie to photography. Her photographs are filled to the brim with a sense of joy from life in the village, and their cozy and gentle atmosphere is further “melted” by the models: Elena’s two children and a whole army of beautiful animals living on the farm. “Children and animals are my life. I am the mother of two sons, and we spend a lot of time in the village,” says Elena.
Smart use of natural lighting certainly helps Elena achieve this quality of photographs. Shumilova uses a Canon EOS 5D Mark III and a 135mm lens. “I prefer to use natural light, both indoors and outdoors. I love all lighting conditions—outdoor, candlelight, fog, smoke, rain and snow—anything that adds visual and emotional depth to a photograph.”
