Portraits of animals where they look very human (21 photos)
Belinda Richards, a photographer from Melbourne, has been working with animals for almost 20 years and admits that during this time she learned to speak fluent canine. After all, the main clients of her Frog Dog photo studio are dogs (although sometimes they bring cats, rabbits, and ferrets). Belinda finds her own approach to each animal, making funny sounds to which the animals listen with attention. The result is simply excellent portraits, and each one with a twist.
“I spend my days talking in fluent dog,” says the photographer. “Well, sort of. I make funny noises and feed the animals peanut butter, and they pose for me - sometimes so humanly that it’s even funny.”
