A photographer shows how free animals feel in the wild forests of Finland (37 photos)
Many people consider Finland a country of cold and darkness. However, Ossi Saarinen, a Finnish photographer, believes that his country is much broader than this description, and shows another surprisingly charming side of his homeland - through his photographs of the inhabitants of the untouched forests that cover almost three-quarters of the entire country.
In these peaceful and ancient forests, wild animals roam freely and thoroughly enjoy their lives. In these photographs, animals seem as mysterious, bewitching and charming as in fairy tales.
Ossi also takes every opportunity to capture the beauty of Finnish wildlife. He believes that every encounter between animals and humans becomes an unforgettable amazing experience (especially an encounter with a bear).
