Roger Chall (1904-1995) was a famous French photographer in the 30s and 40s. He worked in all directions: fashion, portraits, nudes, still lifes, reports. From June 1940 to August 1944, Schall secretly photographed German-occupied Paris. After the war, he continued to work for another two decades, and then devoted himself to painting. Roger Schall's photo archive includes almost 100,000 photographs.
