American photographer Mike Kelly has loved everything related to airplanes since childhood. His photo project called Airportraits (Portraits from the Air) has recently been updated with new photographs. Kelly hired a helicopter and flew over several prominent active airports in the United States, as well as aircraft storage facilities ("aircraft graveyards"). His photographs are an ode to symmetry and hidden beauty that only a true aviation enthusiast can discern.
