We have repeatedly made snide remarks about the fact that photographers tend to huddle in groups, organize competitions among themselves and present awards. Although, of course, this is a business: I personally had to pay as much as $15 to participate in the NG competition. Today we will show the works of the winners of the 2017 Audubon Photo Contest.

John Audubon - American ornithologist and animal artist. The National Audubon Society, which runs the competition, is named in his honor.
