Founded in 1964, the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition showcases the best nature photography in the world. The competition is run by the Natural History Museum and the BBC and consists of eighteen different categories, ranging from animal and bird photography to Creative Vision and Nature in Black and White.
This year, about 48 thousand works from 98 countries of the world were submitted to the competition. The winning photographs will be on display at the Natural History Museum in London until 3 March 2013. We invite you to take a look at the winning photos.
