Wolfgang says about himself: when I was 12 years old, I got my first experience in photography with my father at the film and photo club of Frankenberg in the former German Democratic Republic. My father died when I was 14 years old. As a beekeeper, I have learned to appreciate and love nature. I pay more attention to small things, such as insects or flowers. With my work I wanted to draw people's attention to such small but necessary things as insects. They are so defenseless in front of humans, but they have their own beauty.
