All genres are equally easy for this painter. But Satarov’s landscapes look especially expressive, combining realism and bewitching mystical content.
Mikhail Satarov is from Moscow, born in 1963. I became interested in drawing as a child, when I began going to the studio at the Palace of Pioneers. He also received his education in the capital, graduating from the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov.

Not all masters get the opportunity to be called a living classic. But Mikhail Alekseevich, thanks to a combination of talent and colossal efficiency, received this right.
It is difficult to unambiguously characterize the stylistic affiliation of Satarov’s works. He brings something special to realism, symbolism and surrealism. As a result, he successfully conveys those features of everyday life that are not visible at first glance, but upon closer examination turn out to be so beautiful, as if they were painted not just with paints, but captured on canvas with the help of one’s own emotions, experiences and feelings.
