One of the reviews about his work contains the following heartfelt words: “When you see the artist’s works, you are amazed at how close they are to your soul, and you are surprised at how sensual and soulful they are. You immediately begin to remember the past, dream about the future, and experience a mixed feeling of sadness and joy. With their purity and power of influence, these paintings resemble holy faces. Only these are not images of people, but images of native nature. Like icons, landscapes exude love and light, protect from defilement and temptation. The world in every painting by Oleg Molchanov is so pure and immaculate that you want to stay in it forever, or at least leave a piece of it inside your soul.”
