23 drawings of cats in the genre of hyperrealism (23 photos)
It's hard to believe, but these stunningly realistic images are not photographs, but hyper-realistic pencil drawings. Hyperrealism requires a lot of hard work, skill and patience, but the results are definitely worth the effort!
Meet 18-year-old Japanese artist Haruki Kudo, also known on Instagram as @kudoharu125. She creates very realistic portraits of animals that at first glance appear to be photographs.
“I started painting about two years ago, and I really like the process,” said the artist.
Although the talented Japanese artist draws all kinds of animals, from eagles to dogs, she is especially good at hyper-realistic drawings of cats. Perhaps it's all because of her love for the cat family. And of course, the level of detail in Haruka's drawings is truly amazing!
