On December 10, 2024, the annual Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards ceremony took place in London. The 2024 wildlife comedy photography competition received a record number of entries – over 9,000 from 98 countries. The main prize went to Italian photographer Milko Marchetti for his photograph "Trapped Squirrel."
