Kuritsyn Sergey Pavlovich was born in 1962 in the city of Arkhangelsk. Graduated from art school in Arkhangelsk.

In 1985 he began to paint his first sketches in oil. Since 1991 he has been constantly engaged in oil painting. The main direction is easel painting, the themes of his works are landscapes of the Russian North.
