Valentine Cameron Prinsep, often called Val Prinsep, (14 February 1838 in Calcutta, India - 4 November 1904 in London) was a British Pre-Raphaelite artist.
His parents were Henry Toby Prinsep, who was a 16-year member of the India Council, and Sarah Monckton Patle, sister of the pioneering photographer Julia Margaret Cameron. Henry and Sarah settled in Little Holland House and made it the center of the artistic community.
Valentine Cameron Prinsep married in 1884 Florence the daughter of the famous industrialist and collector Frederick Richards Leyland.
Prinsep died in 1904 and was buried in Brompton Cemetery in London.
