Krauten is known primarily as a landscape painter. For his work he received a bronze medal at the World Exhibition in Paris. In 1994, the artist's first solo exhibition was held at the Östergotland Museum in Linkoping, Krauten's homeland.
This man almost always wrote in the summer. Moreover, not just summer, but a sunny and cheerful summer, bursting with warm and cheerful colors.
