Christina Balit is a British author and illustrator of Armenian descent who spent her childhood in the ancient lands of the Middle East, whose exotic culture greatly influenced her vibrant and stylized illustrations. Studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art in England. Her paintings have been shown at the Royal Academy and the Royal Festival Hall in London.
