Claude Theberge is a famous Canadian artist, born in 1934 in Edmonton, Canada. He received a diploma from the Quebec Art School in 1954 and continued his education in Paris (until 1960). After returning to Canada, Claude Théberge worked in an abstract style and his activities were closely related to architecture. Since 1980, painting began to dominate Theberge’s work. His works, which combine metaphor, symbolism and hyperrealism, have been shown at numerous exhibitions in Paris, Chicago, Detroit, Moscow, St. Petersburg, New York, Quebec, Montreal and Toronto.
