Galba (Galbershtat) Vladimir Aleksandrovich (1908 - 1984), - Leningrad artist, graphic artist, poster artist, worked in satirical politicized publications such as the newspapers "Leningradskaya Pravda", "Evening Leningrad", magazines "Neva", "Ogonyok", etc. In the 1920s he studied in the studios of N.I. Kravchenko and A.A. Radakova. During the years of the siege of Leningrad, his cartoons were published almost every day on the pages of Leningradskaya Pravda. Hitler included the artist in the black list of personal enemies - “They will all be hanged on Palace Square at the hour when the Wehrmacht troops enter conquered Leningrad.” In 1959, his first personal exhibition was successfully held in Leningrad.
