Rolf Dieter Meyer-Wiegand, German painter, (1929-2006) grew up in an artistic family: his father was a conductor and pianist, his mother a concert singer. At first, he began to paint in the tradition of the Malerschule Dusseldorf, later, inspired by the French impressionists, he painted mainly portraits. Lived in Holland, Belgium, France.
