Guram Nikolaevich Dolendzhashvili, Soviet and Georgian artist and graphic artist, was born on March 9, 1943 in Kutaisi. Honored Artist of Georgia. Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts. He writes on large format paper with almost invisible strokes of a graphite pencil.
In 1968, Guram Nikolaevich graduated from the Faculty of Graphics of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. With an easel, he visited Kamchatka and Chukotka, Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, the White Sea region, Yakutia and Dagestan. In the early 90s, the artist had to leave his city and move to Moscow. He dedicated a large number of paintings to his native land of Imereti, one of the regions of western Georgia, the center of which is Kutaisi.
