Oleg Molchanov is not only an artist, but also a poet and restorer. Recently he has been involved in the construction of a chapel for the royal martyrs near the Ipatiev Monastery in Kostroma. It should be erected in 2013, when the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty will be celebrated.
Molchanov Oleg Ivanovich - born on November 27, 1966 in the Kostroma region. Graduated from Kostroma Art School and Yaroslavl Art College. 1986-1988 - service in the Soviet army. 1989-1995 - studied among the students of the first intake of the Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture recreated by I.S. Glazunov in the landscape workshop. He graduated from the restoration course at the Institute. I.E.Repina. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1997, "Honored Artist of Russia" 2009. Participant of various exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including at the State Museum-Palace "Tsaritsino" (2010), in Germany, the USA, etc.
