Stephen Deus was born in 1949 in Yorkshire. He started drawing when he was not yet 5 years old; his first painting was drawn on the wall in kindergarten. Stephen created an amazing portfolio for his first exhibition in 1976 and, on the first night of the exhibition, virtually his entire collection was sold. The following year he held an exhibition in San Francisco, where he received excellent reviews from critics. Stephen is an experienced yachtsman and transfers his knowledge in detail to his paintings.

In London in 1999, his original entitled "Off Cowes" sold for a phenomenal price of $140,000, which confirms the superiority of his paintings.
