Children have a rich imagination that is not always available to adults. Therefore, they often draw various interesting creatures and unknown creatures, giving free rein to their imagination. And a craftswoman named Violetta and under the nickname VioletaOwl brings children's drawings to life. She knits toys from characters drawn by children - creating charming and unique creatures. Check out her creativity!
A Lithuanian craftswoman under the nickname VioletaOwl creates knitted amigurumi dolls based on children's drawings. All toys are unique, and Violetta tries to repeat absolutely all the details from the drawings, even if they slightly do not correspond to real animals. For example, if a child draws a giraffe without a neck, the needlewoman knits it the way the little artist saw it!
According to Violetta, she has been making toys since childhood - for more than 20 years. “When I was nine years old, my mother taught me to crochet. Then I began knitting clothes for dolls and various handmade toys. Having studied design and woodworking technology at school, many years later she returned to making dolls. “When my children grew up, they started drawing all sorts of crazy drawings. When I saw one of these drawings, I couldn’t resist - I immediately had a desire to make a toy based on this drawing,” says Violetta.
Now the craftswoman makes toys to order for her clients. She knits toys based on the drawings of children from all over the world: she opened a small online store and has thousands of customers. Rate her work:
