Danish artist makes giant paper flowers (31 photos)
An artist from Copenhagen named Marianne Eriksen-Scott Hansen creates giant, lush flowers from many layers of colored tissue paper. Her works are completely unique, because the craftswoman thinks through each flower and works it out to the smallest detail. Sometimes she needs thousands of pieces of different paper to create the next masterpiece. Look at this beauty!
Marianne Eriksen-Scott Hansen has been making paper flowers for five years. During this time, she has become a sought-after decorator - she decorates for major events, collaborates with famous designers and such famous brands as Georg Jensen, Levi Strauss, Royal Copenhagen, Elle Style Awards, L'Or?al Paris and many others.
“Just as we need food in our stomachs and clothes on our bodies, we need beauty,” says the craftswoman. “My works are a piece of beauty that I give to this world.”
