An artist from Japan creates paintings with worlds in which ordinary animals look like giants (41 photos)
This mysterious Japanese artist, known on social networks under the pseudonym Ariduka55, creates fantastic illustrations of worlds in which giant animals live and develop together with people. These works of his are inspired by our ordinary world, with only one difference - all small animals, and these are cats, dogs, rabbits, owls, raccoons, in his paintings have dimensions that can be compared with a 3-story building.
Looking through the artist’s images, you uncomfortably catch yourself thinking that he seems to really like to pamper himself with illustrations that depict gentle and cute animals - pandas, rabbits, dogs and the like - although the naked eye can see what is still the most beloved creatures for him are cats.
The atmosphere in the Japanese paintings almost always remains unearthly and peaceful, with elements of some history in the compositions. However, in many illustrations there is soft sunlight penetrating through various objects, including leaves and windows.
Fun fact, the Japanese even have their own word for sunlight shining through tree leaves - komorebi (? ? ? ?). It is a term for the curtain of light and the shadow it creates on the ground, a term that eloquently describes this everyday beauty.
