87-year-old Spaniard Concepcion García Zaera became an influencer in one day: 51,000 people subscribed to her Instagram with pixelated landscapes, of which 40,000 were added in the last 24 hours. The “millennial grandmother,” as the media calls her, spoke about her newfound fame in an interview with El Mundo.
Concepcion became interested in painting in retirement and attended classes for older people. But 12 years ago, her husband became seriously ill, so the heroine had to quit her studies to care for him. The children gave her a computer, and Concepcion took up the mouse instead of a brush. Since then, she has been masterfully drawing in Paint. On Friday, the artist had 361 followers, when suddenly her pictures went viral on Twitter.
