André Marie Pierre Brasilier (French: André Marie Pierre Brasilier) is a modern and living French artist. Born in 1929. His parents were artists and it was quite natural that Brasilier showed an interest in fine art from an early age. In 1949, he began professional painting studies at the National School of Fine Arts (Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts). In 1952 he received his first award: the Florence Blumenthal Price Award (in Florence). In 1959, his first personal exhibition took place (at Galerie Drouet, Paris). Since then: many exhibitions in France and around the world (including the St. Petersburg Hermitage), the opening of his own gallery (Galerie Bac Saint-Germain), a collection of various international awards and, as a result, worldwide recognition and material well-being, based at least on that fact that the artist’s works regularly go to private collections at auctions at leading auction houses. Andre Brasilier is still active at the age of 84! As you can see, horses (his favorite object) are capable of providing prosperity, longevity, and simply a harmonious state of mind.
