John Frederick Lloyd Strevens (1902-1990) is a famous English portrait artist who became famous for his works in the 30s of the 20th century. A distinctive feature of the artist’s brush was an ode to feminine charm. Frederic John Lloyd Strevens demonstrated to the whole world an unconventional male look at the grace, tenderness and spirituality of a girl’s image. In 1952, at the age of 50, John Lloyd Strevens received a gold medal from the Paris Salon, which became a confirmation of his talent, because the paintings of beautiful women exhibited in this salon attracted special attention from the public. The author's paintings are still popular and are distinguished by their inimitable stylistic perception. The artist died in 1990 at the age of 88.
