Sergei Ivanovich Bordyug (1953) - St. Petersburg artist and graphic artist, book illustrator. Born in the Murmansk region, in the family of a naval officer; In Leningrad he graduated from art school, then the Academy of Arts, where he studied with Professor Epifanov. In 1979 he illustrated his first books for “Detgiz” - a collection of fairy tales and poems by Galina Novitskaya. In total, he designed several dozen children's fiction and popular science books - legends and myths of Ancient Egypt and Greece, fairy tales by Wilhelm Hauff, the Brothers Grimm, Charles Perrault, poems by Marshak and Chukovsky, stories by Sladkov.
Sergei Ivanovich illustrated many children's books together with N. Trepenok.
