Alina writes: “Painting is not an entirely accurate definition for these paintings; some works can be classified as graphics, and it certainly cannot be said that they were made in the traditional Chinese style. Rather, it was once taken as a basis; the technique of painting on silk was so fascinating that compliance with any standards was out of the question. A feeling was born in my soul that the material was responding with gratitude to the work, I don’t know what it was, translucency, softness or a slight sheen of silk, but the images looked amazingly realistic... "
