Artist Andrej Zadorine, born in the village of Berezovka in Russia. He graduated from the Belarusian Institute of Arts in 1984 and completed postgraduate studies at the USSR Academy of Arts in Minsk in 1990. Andrey draws inspiration from his childhood memories, combining reality and imagination in his paintings. It uses a natural color palette of brown, gold and auburn. The play of light and shadow, the rich texture of the surface and the fabulous atmosphere of his “works” add great drama to his paintings. Currently lives in the Netherlands.
His works are included in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and have been exhibited throughout Europe and the United States.
