Lives and works in St. Petersburg and France.
From the age of five he attended art school at the State Hermitage Museum. He studied at the Lyceum at the Academy of Arts. I. E. Repin. He studied book graphics and illustration at the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial Institute named after. V.I. Mukhina, as well as the basics of designing stage scenery at the Theater Institute. Took painting lessons from Valentina Gerasimova. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Lived and worked in France and the USA.
Since 1997 he regularly works and exhibits in France. Since 2007 he has been actively exhibiting in Moscow. In 1999 he participated in the Art Expo exhibition (Barcelona, Spain), in 2001 he exhibited at the Spring Salon in Moscow, in 2004 at the New York Art Expo (USA).
In addition to painting, the artist works in the technique of overglaze enamel and ceramics.
Peter Frolov's works are in private collections in Russia, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Israel and the USA.
