Watercolors by Noel Harry Leaver (1889 - 1951) (116 works)
Noel Henry Leaver (1889 - 1951). Born in Austwick, Yorkshire in 1889. He began his career as an architect and became one of the youngest students at the Royal College of Art when he began his studies at age 16. His early paintings are softer and weaker than his later work, but still show a keen understanding of detail and construction. Leaver won numerous scholarships and trips, and used them to visit Europe and North Africa.
