Eugène Boudin (French: Eugène Boudin; July 12, 1824 - August 8, 1898) was a French painter, a predecessor of impressionism. As a teacher, K. Monet had a significant influence on him. Boudin's work is a link between the art of his teachers - representatives of the Barbizon school (Troyon, Millet, Corot and Theodore Rousseau) and his Impressionist followers. Was associated with the Barbizon school. He worked in Brittany, Bordeaux, Holland and Venice.
