Ukhtomsky Konstantin Andreevich (? - 1879) - architect, received his education at the Imperial Academy of Arts, from which he was graduated with the title of artist of the XIV class in 1838. While still a student at the academy, he beautifully painted views of internal buildings in watercolors and was awarded for two similar works , in 1838 and 1839, silver medals. After completing the academic course, he traveled abroad, from where he brought many sketches for his subsequent watercolor works. In 1843, for the design of the house of a wealthy nobleman, he was recognized as an academician.
In 1858, for the views of the hall in the new Hermitage building, he received the title of honorary free associate of the academy. For some time he was the keeper of the academic lyceum, replacing his father in this position. The best of his watercolors depicting views of Italian buildings are in the albums of members of the imperial family.
