Yuri Nikolaevich Padalka was born on November 20, 1953 in the village of Savoskin, Zimovnikovsky district, Rostov region. He spent his childhood and teenage years in his native steppe region. Since those times, the expanse of the Don steppes, the whisper of leaves, the swaying of feather grass, and herds of horses in the steppe have sunk into my memory. Studied at the Moscow University of Arts in the department of easel painting and graphics (1972-1978).
