Vsevolod Ivanov always stands up for the rich history of Russia. He always believed that the history of our ancestors was mercilessly distorted and eradicated from our minds. This was very strongly reflected in his work.
Vsevolod Borisovich Ivanov is a Russian artist. Born in the city of Belomorsk on August 14, 1950. Graduated from Tver Art School. At the beginning of his career he exhibited at various exhibitions, mainly city and regional exhibitions, but once he exhibited at the All-Union. In 1978, Vsevolod Ivanov was noticed (which is not at all surprising), and now he is already a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Vsevolod Ivanov always stands up for the rich history of Russia. He always believed that the history of our ancestors was mercilessly distorted and eradicated from our minds. This was very strongly reflected in his work. The distortion of history, the theft of the real values of the Russian people, all this greatly hurts the artist, and through his paintings he wants to show us what Rus' is. The cycle of his paintings, which is dedicated to the history of ancient Rus', pagan, Slavic Rus', is called “Vedic Rus'”. Studying his extraordinarily beautiful, extraordinarily unusual paintings, sometimes it seems that you suddenly fall into those ancient times and find yourself among Russian heroes, Russian girls, and make a journey into Slavic history. This Russia is completely virgin, not spoiled by modern perversions, because in modern Rus' there are practically no traditions and customs left. His painting is not even drawing, it is an educational act in which we learn more and more detailed truth that the opponents of the Russian people hide from us, hiding behind the deceptive mask of friendship.
Immersing ourselves in his paintings with our minds, it becomes very unfortunate that we have lost the beauty of our customs, the depth of our culture, because in Russia only a small fraction of the former Russian culture remains, which will soon remain only in the paintings of Vsevolod Ivanov.
