Su Halstenberg began her career as a fashion illustrator for Southern California department stores. A few years later, she opens her own business, accepting commissions for portraits and the human body in pastel and acrylic paint. One of Su's paintings, "Victoria", was shown at the opening of American Artist Magazine.
