Ruben Bore was born in Tashkent in 1949. Ruben Bore showed an interest in art at an early age. He began drawing at the age of 4, when his parents were decorating the house for the holidays.
He graduated from the Tashkent Art School in 1965, then entered the Academy of Arts. Repin and graduated from it in 1976.
He traveled extensively throughout Europe, gaining rich experience and expanding his horizons and knowledge. (We have not yet found out how he managed this in Soviet times. There was probably emigration. - CB) He was a designer in a large company, worked as a restorer in prestigious museums.
In 1987, Ruben was invited to work in Milan as a designer and restorer of works by old masters, and in 1996 he was invited to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The artist's bright, colorful works were exhibited in Paris, Rome, Israel, Philadelphia, and Tokyo.
In 1998, Ruben Bore opened an art gallery in Rome, where he still works today with his son Alberto, and in 1999. - another gallery in New York, run by his son Edward.
The artist currently lives in Paris, where he continues to create his magnificent paintings.
