Petras Lukosius is a Lithuanian artist who combines a love for sacred moments of natural grandeur with a passion for admiring streams of light pouring through colored glass.
At least, his works look exactly like a synthesis of these two sincere affections. Both the forest and the water column look like multi-layered glass bends in Lukosius, through which the light pours, oozes, flows, there are countless epithets.
Petras Lukosius was born in 1956 in Lithuania. At the age of 14, he began attending the Children's Art School in Klaipeda, and then the Telsiai College of Decorative and Applied Arts.
