Yuri Arsenyuk was born on January 24, 1955 in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region (Ukraine). He began his professional education in 1970 at the Vizhnytsia School of Applied Arts.
In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow Art Academy. IN AND. Surikov, began teaching in the portrait workshop of this university.
Since 1994 - member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Federation of Artists at UNESCO.
Since 2001 - Professor, Head of the Department of Copy Painting at the All-Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after. I.S.Glazunov. In 2005 he was awarded a silver medal from the Creative Union of Artists of Russia for his contribution to Russian culture. Yuri Arsenyuk is a participant in numerous exhibitions. The artist’s works are in private collections and museums in the country and abroad. In 2006, a monograph about the artist’s work was published.
