Liu Maoshan is a famous landscape artist, member of the Chinese Artists Association, Vice President of the Academy of Chinese Painting, born in Suzhou in 1942. In 1962. Graduated from the Institute of Arts and Crafts in Suzhou. In his works he masterfully combines the rigor of European classical painting, the airiness of modern impressionism and the refined detail of Chinese landscape painting.
